What's the difference
between trial version and full version?
ZwCAD' trial version has certain limits in its functionality:
1. It can only can save files less than 800K in size.
2. Printing is disabled.
The full version has no limit in functionality
How about ZwCAD's OS
supporting and hardware requirement?
ZwCAD supports Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000, Windows ME, XP and Windows NT 4.0.
We recommend windows 2000 to you.
Minimum hardware requirements:
CPU: Pentium MMX 200 Processor or higher
RAM: Min. 64MB (Recommended Memory 256 MB)
HDD: 50MB or higher
Does
ZwCAD support AutoCAD 2004 DWG files?
Like AutoCAD, the native format of ZwCAD is .DWG. Therefore, ZwCAD is fully
compatible with AutoCAD. It can read, edit and save .DWG files of AutoCAD (from
2.5 to 2002). But ZwCAD can't currently support AutoCAD 2004 DWG files.
Since we are continuously upgrading our product, we ZwCAD should support
AutoCAD2004 DWG files very soon.
Are ZwCAD and AutoCAD similar
in their commands design?
The commands in ZwCAD are almost the same as in AutoCAD. Users can drag and drop
menu bars or enter commands according to the requirements.
How many users do you have?
ZwCAD has over 10,000 users in Asia. It has been used in many
fields, such as in architecture, manufacture, interior decoration, and
mechanical design. With its dramatic growth, it is expanding in the
international market, and now includes the US.
I notice that IntelliCAD is
distributed under the names of several different companies. Is there any
difference between ZwCAD and other IntelliCAD?
IntelliCAD is a product developed by ITC, a consortium comprised of several
companies around the world. Every company participating as a commercial member
of ITC can distribute products based on IntelliCAD technology. This kind of
co-operation guarantees the basic functionality and compatibility.
Except the basic functions of IntelliCAD, ZwCAD has added a great many ones,
which makes ZwCAD as one of the best versions of IntelliCAD currently available
on international market.
Can we run Express tools for AutoCAD
2000 in ZwCAD?
Express tools of AutoCAD 2000 were originated from R14. Most of them are
lisp-based routines whereas a few are either ObjectARX or ADS. Therefore,
although ZwCAD supports most of AutoCAD lisps and ADS routines, there might be
some modification.
Can ZwCAD open an image file?
Yes. ZwCAD supports browsing and exporting "WMF, EMF, SLD" files, able to
display image files like "BMP, GIF, JPG, TIF, PCX" etc., and can directly insert
a drawing into a "DWG" file.
Can I define some new panels in
ZwCAD?
Yes. Only a click is required to build new commands, icons and hot-keys. As
ZwCAD fully supports the tools option, fonts, footnotes and symbols of AutoCAD,
users can create panels with ZwCAD easily.
I have downloaded ZwCAD several
months ago, but now you have released a new version. How can I upgrade my ZwCAD?
Generally speaking, the program will automatically remind you of upgrade if any
new version released. Or you can visit our website to download the package of
our new released version. Reinstall and it will replace the previous one.
