Did you know?

SuperPCB is a printed circuit board design package which can be used to design single, double, or multiple-layer circuit boards. Current version: V7.0 (32-bit).

Major Features of SuperPCB for Windows:

  • Visually cued command entry all commands are visible from pull down menus, dialog boxes, or toolbar buttons, using a state-of-the art, modern 21st Century graphical interface (Microsoft Windows!)
  • Library support a large library of DIP, PGA, BGA, surface mount, and discrete package parts is immediately available; in addition, the user can easily make create library parts using the library part editor and library part wizard
  • Easy to use object entry commands these allow the entry of traces, pads, rectangles, ellipses, text, and other objects
  • Easy to use graphics edit commands these include copy, move, rotate, stretch, erase; both single-object and grouped-object edits are allowed
  • Advanced editing features these include rubberbanding of moved parts, snap modes (grid and pad), auto-incremented text, constrained drawing, rotation to one degree precision, and others
  • Built-in autorouter SuperPCB allows incremental autorouting (single point-to-point routing) and batch autorouting on one to 16 layers and multiple grid sizes
  • Multiple circuit layers SuperPCB allows up to 16 layers plus two silk screen layers, solder mask layers, paste layers, power layers
  • Large boards/high resolution you can design boards up to 32" by 32" and specify dimension downs to 1/10 mil; trace widths can be set in a range from up to 255 mils
  • Flexible output artwork can be generated in the industry-standard Gerber file format (RS274X) with Excellon drill files; in addition artwork can be produced on any Windows compatible printer
  • Draw to fit and zoom operations regardless of board size, an entire drawing page can be shrunk and displayed within the viewing window; any portion of this display can be zoomed to normal size
  • Built-in library part editor new parts can quickly be designed using the library editor
  • Advanced flood fill SuperPCB features a new flood algorithm that allows selected regions to be filled with copper, with a selected isolation offset from traces and pads
